Snehdeep Singh Kalsi and his band blend the magic of ghazal, Sufi, and timeless folktales in a powerful evening of music and poetry.
Music holds memory, and in this performance, it becomes a vessel for love stories, poetic tradition, and cultural roots. Vocalist Snehdeep Singh Kalsi leads the evening with a selection of ghazals, Sufi compositions, and folk-inspired narratives—drawing from timeless tales like Heer Ranjha.
Rooted in his Punjabi upbringing, Snehdeep’s music has been influenced by musical giants like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, as well as the diverse richness of genres like Hindustani Classical, kirtan, and film music. As a result, he is known for an effortless ease across languages and genres. His multilingual rendition of ‘Kesariya’, sung in five Indian languages, received national recognition and widespread acclaim.
Performed with a live band, the set brings together lyrical depth and accessible storytelling—creating a space where heritage resonates with the present. It’s an evening of music that listens inward, speaks across cultures, and leaves a lasting impression.
