Climb mountains of imagination through songs, stories, and playful learning in this joyous musical theatre workshop where children sing, move, and create together.
This musical theatre workshop takes children on an imaginative journey through song, storytelling, and movement, inspired by ‘Itna Bada Pahad’—a playful Hindi song that invites listeners to picture a great big mountain and all the wonder that might lie beyond. Led by theatre artists and educators Kalpesh Samel, Pratiksha Khasnis, and Deep Dabre, the session begins with a welcome circle and voice warmups, followed by learning the song through rhythm and repetition. Children then build stories together, play improvisation games, and explore movement inspired by climbing, hiding, and journeying. As the workshop culminates in a group performance, participants gain confidence, collaborate with peers, and reflect on the adventures they created—blending music, theatre, and expressive play in a setting designed just for them.
