Actor Mrinal Kulkarni and a talented ensemble bring you this Marathi folk dance-style theatre that explores the lives of saint-poets like Sant Tukaram and Sant Dnyaneshwar.
Rooted in Maharashtra’s rich Sant Sahitya tradition, this Marathi folk dance-style theatre explores the spiritual journeys of Sant Tukaram, Sant Dnyaneshwar, and other revered voices of the Warkari movement. This centuries-old devotional path celebrates equality, community, and the search for the divine within. Based on stories by Go Ni Dandekar, the performance brings these timeless teachings to life through storytelling, classical abhangas, and expressive movement.
The powerful narration is led by acclaimed actors Mrinal Kulkarni, Shivani Rangole, and Shivraj Waichal. Directed by Director Suraj Parasnis and Director Virajas Kulkarni, the evening blends music, theatre, and dance into a lyrical reflection on faith, identity, and inner awakening, guided by the enduring wisdom of Maharashtra’s saint-poets.
