Experience a culturally rich Western classical recital in two parts – featuring one of India’s finest Classical pianists Shantanu Patel and acclaimed Russian pianist Tatyana Dichenko.

Part of a unique ‘Summer Western Classical Music Series’, this two-part piano recital features two exceptional artists whose musical journeys span continents and genres. The evening begins with Shantanu Patel, one of India’s finest classical pianists, known for his versatility across Western classical, jazz, and Indian cinematic traditions. With a background that includes performances with the London Firebird Orchestra, collaborations with legends like A.R. Rahman and Vishal Bhardwaj, and his rich experiences as a music educator, Shantanu brings depth and dynamism to every piece. His recital includes works by Debussy, Chopin, Ravel, Messiaen, and Ginastera—tracing a vivid arc of texture, rhythm, and tonal colour.

In the second half, acclaimed Russian pianist and educator Tatyana Dichenko takes stage with a mesmerizing recital featuring masterpieces by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Alexander Scriabin, and Sergei Rachmaninoff. Trained at the prestigious Moscow Conservatory, Tatyana has performed internationally and won several piano competitions. Her career includes collaborations with leading vocalists, performances across Europe, and decades of dedication to piano pedagogy. Her recital—rooted in the Russian classical tradition—offers a nuanced and expressive quality to the evening.

Together, this performance promises a rich and layered experience where the two artists bring their personal styles to one stage and create a musical experience that showcased art beyond boarders and cultures.
