A kaleidoscope of rhythm and movement, this dance recital is an ode to India’s diverse folk traditions, revived for a new generation. From the spirited beats of Punjab and the earthy footwork of Rajasthan to the grace of the North-East and the exuberance of Gujarat, it brings timeless stories to life with fresh energy that speaks to today’s youth.
Conceived and performed by Vaishali Sagar and her Kalanjay Academy of Folk Dances, the performance becomes a dialogue between tradition and innovation. With authenticity at its core and creativity in its soul, the evening reveals how folk art continues to evolve, staying relevant, alive, and powerfully inspiring in a rapidly changing world.
