Join Berlin-based Sera Kalo and her international quartet on a soulful journey through jazz, neo-soul, and electronic soundscapes.
Blending jazz, neo-soul, and electronic textures, vocalist Sera Kalo brings her debut project eXante to life with the international quartet that has toured with her for the past two years. Featuring Igor Osypov on guitar & keys, Dylan Greene on drums, and Sofia Eftychidou on bass & synth, the band captures the album’s organic feel and live energy, shifting fluidly between deep grooves and ambient layers. Their set unfolds as an immersive journey, where each song expands and transforms through improvisation, tension-building, and release that keep listeners engaged and surprised.
Born in the U.S. to a Caribbean household steeped in diverse traditions, Sera Kalo has shaped her genre-fluid voice through influences spanning Motown, reggae, hip-hop, classical piano, and free jazz. Now based in Berlin, she has appeared on over 23 albums across Germany and Asia and earned widespread acclaim, including the 2025 Deutscher Jazzpreis for vocals and the 2024 Sony Music Female Producer Prize.
With Sera’s poetic storytelling, layered arrangements, and fearless improvisation, the performance offers a rich, contemporary jazz-soul experience that is both deeply personal and sonically electrifying.
