Join Bhuta Khan and his ensemble for an electrifying evening where Rajasthani folk, Sufi qawwali, and pulsating rhythms come alive in a vibrant fusion.
From the deserts of Rajasthan comes a sound shaped by centuries of tradition, devotional music, and the spirit of communal gatherings. Carrying this rich legacy forward, folk vocalist and composer Bhuta Khan leads an ensemble of eight musicians in the ‘Bhuta Khan Project’—a dynamic blend of Rajasthani folk, soulful Sufi qawwali, and rock-inspired rhythms. At the heart of the performance lies the khartal and other traditional instruments, anchoring the sound in authenticity while infusing it with contemporary energy. The result is an experience that feels both deeply rooted and refreshingly new.
Recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Puraskar and the Rajasthan Academy Award, Bhuta Khan has performed alongside legends such as Kaushiki Chakraborty, Ustad Sultan Khan, and Ustad Anoop Jalota. His collaborations from Coke Studio with Sachin–Jigar to global fusion projects with Maati Baani reflect his artistic versatility and global vision. With over 40 international tours and appearances at major festivals worldwide, Bhuta Khan continues to carry the pulse of Rajasthani music across borders and generations.
