One of the most revered figures in Marathi literature, Borkar was known for his deeply humanistic verse and lyrical imagery, blending tradition with modernity in ways that continue to inspire generations of readers and writers.
Conceived and directed by Saleel Kulkarni, the performance brings Borkar’s evocative poetry to life through original compositions, dramatic readings, and live recitations. The result is a rich dialogue between past and present, honouring Borkar’s timeless imagery while making it resonate with contemporary audiences, especially the younger generation.
