Singer-songwriter Janisht Joshi brings a vibrant evening of Hindi and English originals, where indie influences meet the timeless charm of Bollywood.
Blending the pulse of modern indie with the enduring appeal of classic Bollywood, Indian-Nepalese singer-songwriter Janisht Joshi brings his unique sound to the stage. Based in Bombay, he began as a cover artist and has since made waves with original compositions that have crossed over four million streams, including the hit singles Yeh Duniya Jala Do and Kaagaz Ke Phool. Drawing inspiration from artists like The Strokes, John Mayer, and Bleachers and the filmography of the golden era icons Raj Kapoor and Guru Dutt, Janisht crafts music that is both fresh and nostalgic.
Performing in Hindi and English, he will share songs from his repertoire and preview tracks from his upcoming Hindi album, ‘Talkhiyaan’. Joining him are gini on keys, Timothy Thampy on guitar, Aashay Khot on bass, and Dhritvan Alva on drums, with special guest appearances by Gini, Ramil Ganjoo, Sagar Verma, Utsavi Jha, and more, promising a vibrant evening of collaboration and musical storytelling.
