‘Interwoven by Harshada Jambekar & Priyanka Shinde’

Kathak dancers Harshada Jambekar and Priyanka Shinde come together in a richly expressive duet that channels the power of poise and compelling narration. Sharing the stage in a dynamic interplay—sometimes mirroring, sometimes challenging, and at times complementing each other—they weave intricate footwork, swift pirouettes, and expressive abhinaya into a conversation of sound and silence, tradition and innovation. 

Harshada Jambekar, disciple of Late Shri Vasantrao Ghadge ji, Dr. Mrs. Manjiri Deo ji, and Taalmani Pt. Mukundraj Deo ji, is an ‘A’ graded Doordarshan artist and recipient of the Nritya Nipuna Award. She has performed widely across India and at international festivals in the USA, Europe, and the Middle East, and is the founder-director of Kathakkii in Mumbai. 

Priyanka Shinde, trained under the same lineage of gurus, is also a Doordarshan-graded artist and recipient of the Young Women Achievers Award from Nehru Yuva Kendra, Bharat Sarkar. She has represented India on global platforms including the Edinburgh Festival and the Commonwealth Games Flag Handover Ceremony, and leads the Nrityangan Cultural Academy. 

Together, they merge their artistry, lineage, and individual journeys into one seamless expression of Kathak, where rhythm becomes dialogue and dance a timeless conversation.
