'Ek Ram Naam’

Echoing devotion through melody and verse, this concert presents a rich selection of compositions and bhajans dedicated to Lord Ram. Timed perfectly with the festive spirit of Dussehra and Diwali, it honours centuries of poetic and musical adoration for Ram, brought alive through timeless traditions. 

At its heart are two maestros from distinguished musical legacies. Vidwan Dr. Sriram Parasuram is a rare artiste, accomplished in both Carnatic and Hindustani styles, and one of the few to earn an A-Top grade in both systems from All India Radio and Doordarshan. Sharing the stage is Pt. Suhas Vyas—son and disciple of the legendary Padmabhushan Pt. C. R. Vyas—who carries forward his father’s legacy, blending intellectual rigour with deep emotional resonance in Hindustani music.  

Together, they create a unique confluence of musical lineages, bridging language, tradition, and devotion. They are accompanied by an accomplished ensemble featuring Mandar Puranik on tabla, Niranjan Lele on harmonium, Sri Rohit Krishnamoorthy on mridangam, and Sri S V Ramachandran on violin, ensuring a special evening where rhythm, melody, and bhakti flow in perfect harmony.
