Presenting a powerful fusion of son, salsa, rumba, and Afro-Cuban jazz, ‘One Night in Havana – Una Noche en La Habana’ is the ultimate tribute to the soul-stirring rhythms that shaped a nation and moved the world. The performance shines a spotlight on Cuba’s rich musical history with founding members Demetrio Muñiz (Direction), Barbarito Torres (Laud), and Manuel Machado (Trumpet) at its heart, joined by all-star Cuban musicians – Angel Aguiar (Vocals), Amanda Gaviria (Vocals), Sergio Fernández (Piano), Ramon “El León” Gonzalez Orta (Percussion), Julián Garvayo (Trombone), Geandelaxis “Mandela” Bell (Trombone), Pedro Porro Oduardo (Timba), Rainer Perez Rodriguez (Bass), and Juan Luis De La Torre (Backup Trumpet). Together, they breathe new life into classic anthems like Chan Chan and Dos Gardenias alongside fresh tracks from their critically acclaimed 2024 album.
