Experience a live set by Delhi-based funk-jazz collective The Revisit Project, as they pay tribute to classic Hindi film songs, reimagined with bold grooves, jazz textures, and fresh energy.
The golden era of Hindi cinema gave us melodies that continue to echo across generations. In this high-energy instrumental set, The Revisit Project reimagines those timeless songs, blending classic film music with contemporary funk, jazz, and rhythm-driven improvisation.
The band started out in 2014 as a tribute act, reworking forgotten gems from Bollywood’s golden era. Over time, they found their own voice, releasing original albums like 'Here We Go’, ‘Brown Man’s Funk’, and ‘Born in Delhi’. Today, they’re known for tight arrangements, rich textures, and a sound that bridges the old and the new.
This performance is a return to where it all began—a tribute to the great composers of Hindi cinema, from the sweeping scores of the ’60s and ’70s to more recent favourites. Led by Abhay Sharma on saxophone, with Aditya Bhagavatula (drums), Karan Wadhwa (bass), Pranay Verma (guitar), Joel Dias (keyboard), and percussionists Varun Rajshekhran and Mahavir, the set promises groove, nostalgia, and a fresh way to hear the songs we grew up with.
