Join Krishna Shrimantrao Bongane for an evening of Marathi and Hindi devotional music, celebrating the timeless wisdom of India’s saint-poets through song and verse.
Rooted in the spirit of bhakti and reflection, this music-led presentation draws from the timeless teachings of Sant Tukaram, Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Kabir, and Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Featuring original Marathi and Hindi compositions, alongside well-loved traditional verses, it offers an evening of song, story, and spiritual resonance.
The performance is led by Krishna Shrimantrao Bongane, a classically trained vocalist and harmonium player with roots in Maharashtra’s rich musical traditions. He is joined by a live ensemble of singers and instrumentalists that includes Rohit Khawale on pakhawaj, Niranjan Lele on harmonium, Rohan Pandharpurkar on tabla, Aditya Sutar on flute, and Om Bhoir on percussion. Gentle narration runs through the concert, creating a calm, reflective atmosphere where music becomes a way to connect with the words and wisdom of the saints.
Performed across cities such as Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, and Nanded since 2016, this thoughtfully crafted event continues to connect listeners with the poetic clarity and enduring relevance of the saints’ words.
This performance is supported by Reliance Foundation.
