Experience Ankita Joshi’s heartfelt tribute to her Guru, Pandit Jasraj, through rare raags, haveli sangeet, and devotional gems of the Mewati Gharana.
Rooted in the Mewati Gharana, vocalist Ankita Joshi presents an ode to her mentor, Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj. Trained under him for over two decades, Ankita accompanied Guruji on tours across India and abroad, learning the nuanced artistry of performance while offering vocal support. In this special presentation, she renders rare and selective raags from the Mewati tradition, along with haveli sangeet and devotional compositions, carrying forward her Guru’s legacy with deep devotion and refined artistry.
Honoured with accolades such as the Sur Jyotsna National Award, Pt. Vasantrao Deshpande Award, and Shanmukhananda Sangeet Shiromani Award, and featured in Forbes India’s 30 Under 30—Ankita stands as both a cultural ambassador and an inspiration to younger generations.
She will be joined on stage by Abhinay Ravande on harmonium, Ramkrishna Karambelkar on tabla, Prathmesh Taralkar on pakhawaj, Surykant Surve on side rhythm, with Vaishnavi Patil and Aditi Ravande on vocal support. Together, they create a shared celebration of music, memory, and the enduring bond between guru and shishya.
