Step onto the rehearsal floor for a hands-on, interactive theatre workshop with acclaimed actor-director Jaimini Pathak, designed for aspiring theatre lovers ready to create, perform, and bring stories to life on stage.
At its heart, theatre is a living conversation between performer, space, and vision. In this intensive workshop, actor, director, and writer Jaimini Pathak invites participants to uncover the essential elements that shape this dialogue. Through performative exploration and guided improvisation, the session delves into text analysis—verbal and non-verbal, direction, performance, and basic stage design, allowing participants to discover how these four elements interact on the rehearsal floor.
Designed for actors, writers, directors, and theatre enthusiasts, the workshop offers a practical, experience-based approach to understanding the craft, not through theory, but through doing. Participants will work with pre-shared texts and engage in collaborative exercises that illuminate the creative process behind play-making.
With decades of experience across stage and screen, and acclaimed works such as Mahadevbhai (1892–1942) and Laghu, Pathak brings a wealth of insight to this journey into the art and anatomy of theatre.
