Step into a soulful journey where the harmony of Sufi and Bhakti traditions unfolds through music, poetry, and spirituality.
Indulge in an evening of transcendent melodies and timeless poetry with Dhruv Sangari and the Rooh Sufi Ensemble. This performance will guide you on a mystical journey through the spiritual realms of Sufi and Bhakti. Experience soul-stirring Qawwali rhythms, the rustic charm of Punjabi Kaafi, the poetic elegance of Farsi Ghazals, and modern interpretations of esoteric thought. Each piece is woven with narratives that deepen your connection to the timeless messages of the great Sufi masters.
Revered as ‘The Prince of Qawwali’, Dhruv Sangari (Bilal Chishty) is a celebrated vocalist, composer, and Sufi scholar whose life’s work has been dedicated to spreading the mystical messages of love, peace, and unity. With deep roots in Hindustani classical music and Qawwali traditions, Sangari leads a talented group of musicians, creating a sonic experience that bridges the ancient and the contemporary.
The Rooh Sufi Ensemble brings together a stellar lineup of musicians — Salamat Ali on harmonium, Siraj Khan on mandolin, Faraz Khan on keyboard, Sameer Khan on tabla, Fazil Khan on dholak, Iqbal Khan on backup vocals, and Ansh Seth on chorus.
Together, they create a powerful experience that transcends cultural boundaries and fosters a profound sense of unity.
