Hii! We’re the team behind the Mumbai Comedy Festival. For years we’ve been traveling to comedy festivals across the world and have had the privilege of experiencing the artform at its finest. Every time we’ve watched a brilliant show in Melbourne, or Edinburgh, or London, we’ve dreamt of creating a parallel experience for audiences back home. We’ve put in a decent amount of work (9 years to be exact) so it’s only fair that in our 10th year in the business, we realize our dream - to curate the perfect comedy festival!

Presenting to you the Opening Gala of Mumbai Comedy Festival, the first comedy show at The Grand Theatre, NMACC. It’ll feature a surprise lineup of Indian and International comedians who have written the most killer material in 2024. Who’s performing? Do you know them? How much are they making? All this and more will be answered on December 1st at 2:30 pm and then again at 7:30 pm.

FAQ

1. Who is performing? The shows will feature a surprise lineup of Indian and International comedians who have written the most killer material in 2024.

2. What is the language of performance? Close to 50% of the line-up performs in English and the rest will perform either in Hindi or a combination of Hindi & English.

3. How long will the show run for? Total run time is 2 hrs. First half is 50 mins; followed by a 20 mins break; then the 2nd half is 50 mins.

4. Is it the same line-up in both, 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm shows? Yes. Same line-up of Comedians will perform in both shows.

5. What is the age-limit? 18 years old and above. Anyone below 18 years of age is strictly not allowed inside the venue. This includes infants, toddlers and kids of any specific age below 18 years.

6. Is the show being recorded? No.

7. Is late entry allowed? In case you arrive late, you may have to wait outside the theatre until an appropriate time.
