It’s time to dive into the dynamic new wave of rock and pop! As Pranita Nair Pandurangi infuses her Urdu poetry with the powerful edge of rock, Nush Lewis elevates the evening with her moody and dark soundscapes.
Discover a whole new realm of modern music with an electrifying lineup presented by the multifaceted talents of Pranita Nair Pandurangi and Nush Lewis.
Pranita’s songwriting draws from the rich traditions of Urdu shayari and Indian folk music. Influenced by funk, disco, and blues, this showcase of Urdu rock features her upcoming tracks, exploring themes of love, self-discovery, spirituality, separation, the wonders of nature, and mental health. She will be performing alongside a remarkable group of musicians, including Kabeer Singh, Anand Masrani, Dhananjay Singh Chhettri, and Ajay Narayanan.
The other segment of the show will be led by Nush, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and singer-songwriter. Bringing over 13 years of expertise, she is ready to take the audience on a journey of musical evolution with her finest selections. Her performance promises to be an evocative mix of moody and dark tones with a touch of surrealism. Accompanied by Shashwat Karkare on drums, Mousumi Datta on bass, and Hardik Pandya on keys, Nush and her exceptional ensemble are set to deliver a performance that is both immersive and exhilarating.
The first recipient of A Humming Heart's Artist Fund, Pranita has received immense love for her track ‘Chaap Tilak’, featured in Netflix’s Masaba Masaba. Meanwhile, Nush’s artistry has graced prestigious stages across India and beyond, including the Ziro Festival of Music and the Adelaide Fringe Festival. As they come together, get ready for an unforgettable musical experience where tradition meets innovation, and every note tells a story.
