‘O Gaanewali - The Ghazal Edition’ – featuring talented artists such as Avanti Patel, Rutuja Lad, Akshay Jadhav, Ejaz Hussain, and Nusrat Apoorv – celebrates the timeless charm of light Indian Classical music. Showcasing the beloved ghazal and other beautiful musical forms like thumri, dadra, hori, and chaiti, the show pays tribute to the tawaifs and women artists who popularized these genres. The performance is conceived to blend storytelling with musical showmanship, immersing the audience in a rich cultural legacy. 

The evening promises renditions of ghazal classics such as ‘Aye Muhobbat Tere Anjaam Pe Rona Aya’, ‘Hum Dekhenge', ‘Woh Jo Hum Mein Tum Mein Qarar Tha', and ‘Mere Humnafas'. The show is led by Avanti Patel, a familiar face from Indian Idol Season 10 who is known for her work in Bollywood gharana, and her unique vocal style. Rutuja Lad, who has performed alongside legends like Pandita Dhondutai Kulkarni, brings her deep-rooted classical background to the magical medley.
