‘Kavyaraag’, bridges the worlds of music and poetry, aiming to reintegrate these art forms into everyday life and culture. Led by Chinmayi Tripathi, a versatile singer-songwriter, poet, and founder of Kavyaraag, the band brings to life the works of literary giants such as Meera, Kabir, Amir Khusrau, Nirala, Mahadevi Verma, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and Faiz Ahmed Faiz. Through a rich blend of music, stories, and anecdotes, the performance reimagines the classics, offering an experience that is as enchanting as inspiring.
Accompanying Chinmayi’s soulful vocals and dotara is Joell, an exceptional composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, known for blending new-age production with timeless melodies. The ensemble is further enriched by Omkar Salunkhe on percussion, Govind Gawli on bass, and Finix on violin, creating a harmonious synergy that captivates the senses.
