Through the grace of Kathak, it explores the dynamic interplay of rhythm and movement, vividly portraying avartana (the cyclical flow of time).
The performance unfolds as a vibrant bouquet of compositions, inviting audiences to experience Kathak as a celebration of rhythm, expression, and life itself. With over five decades of dedication to her craft, Uma Dogra, a senior disciple of Pt. Durga Lal ji, has captivated global audiences and earned prestigious accolades, including the Sangeet Natak Akademi Puraskar, for her exceptional contributions to Indian classical dance.
