In September, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre is bringing the first edition of the NMACC India Weekend, taking forward the vision of bringing the best of India to the world with a three-day cultural showcase! This one-of-its-kind event celebrates the finest of Indian performing arts, fashion, music, wellness, and cuisine with a host of exciting presentations. It will take place at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York, from September 12–14, 2025.

At the NMACC India Weekend, guests can view ‘The Great Indian Musical: Civilization to Nation’ at the David. H Koch Theater. This is a limited run of 5 shows, over the weekend, with matinee and evening shows on Saturday and Sunday, and only one evening show on the Opening Night (Friday). You can view the schedule for show timings. For the Weekend, guests can also book passes for ‘The Grand Indian Festival’, at Damrosch Park. The passes are available for morning and evening – guests can pick either or both - to experience the finest in Indian fashion and textiles, decadent flavours, as well as dance, yoga and music.

The show – ‘The Great Indian Musical: Civilization to Nation’ – has a limited run of 5 performances, over the Weekend. Tickets booked for the show allow guests access to the David H. Koch Theater (matinee or evening show). For the ‘The Grand Indian Festival’ at Damrosch Park, you can choose to pick passes for the morning (10.30am to 2pm) or evening (4pm to 10.30pm). These passes will give you access only to the Damrosch Park, and does not include access to the theater for the musical.
India's largest theatrical production ‘The Great Indian Musical: Civilization to Nation’ is a spectacular tribute to India’s past, present and future —blending dance, art, fashion, and music. It travels the country’s history from 5000 BC until its independence in 1947.
The musical is an NMACC presentation, conceived and directed by Feroz Abbas Khan. Feroz Abbas Khan is an internationally celebrated film & theatre director and screenwriter whose work uses the medium of television, radio, and the internet for social behaviour change and women empowerment.
The show will have a limited run of five performances, over the weekend. On the Opening Night, there is one evening show, followed by a matinee and evening show on Saturday & Sunday.
The production features a cast of over 100 performers, stunning costumes, and grand sets. We look forward to welcoming you!
