‘Manu Delago Trio’

Grammy-nominated composer, innovator, and acclaimed percussionist Manu Delago returns to India with his trio for an evening of experimental pop and minimal jazz. The Austrian musician is renowned for his dynamic and surprising live performances, having toured in more than 50 countries and collaborated with leading artists such as Björk, Anoushka Shankar, The Cinematic Orchestra, Ellie Goulding, and Ólafur Arnalds. 
 
Delago first rose to global fame in 2007 with his handpan solo Mono Desire, one of YouTube’s Top 30 music videos that year. His collaborations with Björk on Biophilia and Anoushka Shankar on Land of Gold earned him international acclaim and his first Grammy nomination, followed by a second for Between Us with Shankar and the Metropole Orkest. 
 
A pioneer in blending acoustic and electronic sounds, Delago’s works such as Metromonk and the award-winning Parasol Peak reflect his passion for nature and sonic innovation. His commitment to sustainability led to the ReCycling Tour, a carbon-neutral concert journey across Europe by bicycle, and the documentary From the Alps to the North Sea. His solo album Environ Me further explores soundscapes created from natural elements. 
 
In this India tour, Manu Delago on handpan, drums, and electronics, performs alongside Isa Kurz on vocals, violin, and piano, alongside Clemens Rofner on bass, weaving intricate rhythms, delicate harmonies, and atmospheric sound design. Together, they invite audiences into a world where rhythm meets reflection, and music becomes an elemental experience.
